Topic : 1 Malaysia.
Malaysia,formally known as Malaya, is a country which is formed by a combination of total 13 states and three federal territories whereby it is also being separated into two mainlands that is the Peninsular Malaysia (West Malaysia) and East Malaysia.16th September 2010, Malaysia Day. Our Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak has officially announced a unity program named 1 Malaysia. Basically,the main purpose to organize this program is to allow the cabinet, government agencies, and civil servants to strongly emphasize ethnic harmony, national unity, and efficient governance.
Our Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak has a future plan that to unite all races mainly Malays,Chinese,Indian to cooperate together in order to promote Malaysia as a harmony and fully developed country internationally,and that is the reason why our Prime Minister has decided to launch this 1 Malaysia program.I would like share with all of you regarding the benefits that are brought by 1 Malaysia program. Firstly, as we understand the word One,which means that only the number exist which is neither zero or more then one,so the word One is to represent that people in Malaysia is under one nationality,that is Malaysian.1 Malaysia program united all of us to stay together to fight for the best and prepare for the worst without encountering races.For instance,countries which have only one race will never experience the power of unity,even when they are under the same race,they did suffer from racist problems sometimes.Malaysia is a good example to prove them wrong that many races living under the same hut can create a peaceful country.
Besides,in this globalized world,economy market is very competitive.One of the advantages of launching 1 Malaysia program is to boost our economy to the peak and attract foreign businessman and co-operate companies to invest or to set up their branches or factories in Malaysia,or even creates believes that spending a huge money in Malaysia is the safest,since we have proven them that all of us cooperated well.Those companies have chosen Malaysia as their first investing country is because they understand the fair and square system run by our governmental administration team,they believe that their money will evenly spend on the fundamental materials for their production or construction purpose.For instance, Carseam Electronic Company has been setting up 2 factories in Malaysia for approximately 10 years and never plan to migrate their factories to other countries even though other countries are offer greater lower tax rate or even free land rental for them.
In addition,we could clearly see that 1 Malaysia is bringing Malaysia towards international level and to be recognize by people around the world.Our government wishes foreigners just to visit our country and not just to know where is our location.Indirectly,i could summarize that 1Malaysia program even brings along tourism.Foreigners are coming to Malaysia mainly because of the tourist hotspots or even variety of food,meanwhile they do wanted to experience the culture and festivals that we practice and celebrate.Once they have experienced it,they could advertise it in their own place.For example,Malaysia is one of the countries which celebrates Hari Raya Aidilfitri,Chinese New Year, and Deepavali throughout the whole year.
In order for 1Malaysia to succeed,many ways and solutions have being launched by the government and now i would like to suggest a few methods for it.Analysis found out that we Malaysian are lacking of communication. Method one is to promote 1Malaysia program through electronic and printing media.For electronic media, the government could set up a local social communicating network that is to connect each and everyone of us with an identity profile.Instead of using Facebook,maybe the government should set up their own website or forum only for Malaysian to communicate.Whereas for printing media,headline of any newspapers,magazines,novels or even storybooks should be printed a 1Malaysia logo,vision,slogan and mission.For instance,if we read any reading materials,for sure we will definitely read from top to bottom,and we could read the heading once,day by day and year by year,we could remember all the vision and mission of 1Malaysia and practise it daily in our life.We could share our ideas and solutions or even exchange knowledge with other in order to eliminate racist topics and thoughts.
Furthermore,education starts from young.The minister of education should insert topics regarding unity into text and set it compulsory as an examination.Besides teaching and discussing,practices make perfect,activities like "Gotong-Royong" ,food fair,open day should be organized by the school administration team for all students to participate.Our school planning system could be different from others,we have 3 kind of schools provided in Malaysia,International School,"Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan","Sekolah Jenis Menengah Kebangsaan".Under the program of 1Malaysia,students from all races should be placed under the same school and receive the same education,and for mother tongue languages,they could take it separately,but most important is Bahasa Malaysia and English.Subjects should be thought in English have to be reenforce so that our students are able to cope with the English-Based courses locally or internationally in future.For example,we,as a student in Malaysia,should practice Bahasa Malaysia and English or even our own mother tongue daily.
Last but not least, we should be proud to be Malaysian and appreciate what have our democratic government did to us and the country.I strongly believe that 1Malaysia program will definitely lead us to a brighter future. Think of yourself,think of others,think of Malaysia.
